A few weeks ago the dream of owning our own potter's wheel became reality; for $200.00 an old well used Clay Boss became ours. It even fit in the back of the Suzuki!
I had been talking about wheel throwing with my current student teacher, Alicia who was a ceramics major before switching to Art Ed. Alicia had been telling me of a guest professor who came in and required the class to throw 100 cylinders before they kept any. Then I saw this awesome TED talk on being an Artist right now http://bit.ly/WvWv2g and this blog was born!
So I am off and running on my way to 100-Right Now!
